Vietnam Classic tour from Hanoi offers traveler chance to discover the different fantastic landscapes and culture in Vietnam, from the friendly people, exotic cuisine, and bustling cities of Hanoi with its museums, well-known puppet theatre and Hochiminh. Explore the most mountainous region, home to many hill tribe groups at Sapa, the wonder of Halong Bay, Phong Nha Cave, MySon Holy Land. Study the former major seaport and world heritage site of Hoi An, ruined temples of the little known Cham Empire and the delightful pagodas and temples of Hue. Relax on the white sandy beaches of Nha Trang. Explore the vast stretches of the Mekong Delta with its rural villages and floating markets.

  Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (meal: dinner)

 You are warmly welcomed by our Tour guide at Noibai Airport and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi capital. Be free and relax after long journey. In the evening, attend Water Puppet Show and enjoy welcome dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.

 Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Cruise (Meal: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

 Leave Hanoi at 08:00 for Halong bay, The World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, embark a junk cruising around Halong Bay. Enjoy seafood lunch on boat, then have a short excursion to Surprise Caves and swim, kayak if weather permitted. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (if weather permitted), have seafood dinner on boat. Overnight on board.

 Day 3: Halong – Hanoi – Lao Cai (meal: breakfast, lunch)

In the morning, cruise more around Halong Bay and back to the Halong pier. Have lunch on boat before driving back to Hanoi. Overnight on Sapa train.

 Day 4: Lao Cai – Sapa (meal: breakfast, lunch)

Arrive at Lao Cai train station at about 6.30. Take a transfer to Sapa. Check in at the hotel and freshen up after a long trip with breakfast in the good weather of Sapa, then, visit Sapa town. In the afternoon, take a 2km short trek to Cat Cat Village, the home of H’mong minority, have dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Sapa town.

 Day 5: Sapa – Lao Cai – Hanoi (meal: breakfast, lunch)

Short drive to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages, home of H’mong and Day ethnic. Enjoy slope rice field, bamboo valley, rustic villages and villager’s daily work along the way. Return to Sapa and take a transfer back to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi. Overnight on train.

 Day 6: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (meal: breakfast, lunch)

Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning. Have breakfast and start a trip to Ninhbinh, Ancient Capital of Vietnam in 10th century.  On arrival, take a short excursion by bike to visit Dinh – Le temples, which were built in memory of the Tran Dynasty Kings who defeated Kublikhan’s army, have lunch at local restaurant. In the early afternoon, explore Tam Coc (three grottos) by rowing boat through the rice fields, mountain ranges, This Area is considered as “Halong bay on land”. Back to Hanoi and arrive at 17:00. Overnight in Hanoi.

 Day 7: Hanoi city – Van Phuc Sillk village – Quang Binh (meal: breakfast, lunch)

Start a city visit at 9:00 to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, One pillar pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda. After lunch, visit to Temple of Literature, Army Museum, Hanoi Flag Tower. Then, visit Vanphuc silk village for shopping. Take a night train to Dong Hoi. Overnight on train.

 Day 8: Phong Nha Ke Bnag National park (meal: breakfast, lunch)

After check–in, relax, then drive to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. Getting on boat and cruise the world’s longest underground river to Phong Nha Cave. The deeper one penetrates, the more magical the natural aspects of the caves are. After 700m cruise, a large dry passage appears, discover the cave for 500m by walking. Have a chance to explore the remain of Cham Altars and Inscriptions inside. Overnight in Dong Hoi town.

 Day 9: Quang Binh – DMZ – Hue (meal: breakfast, lunch)

Drive along Ho Chi Minh Trail back to Hue with a stopover at historic Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River and the famous Vinh Moc Tunnel. Continue the drive to Hue. Overnight in Hue

 Day 10: Hue (meal: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Start the tour with a visit to Imperial Citadel and King Minh Mang tomb, King Tu Duc Tomb, Thien Mu Pagoda. Then we will embark in a boat cruise along Perfume river to admire sunset and enjoy Vietnamese traditional folk song on boat. Overnight in Hue.

 Day 11: Hue – Hoi An – My SOn (meal: break, lunch, dinner)

In the morning, take a private car from Hue to Hoian. Early lunch and drive to Myson Holy Lan  – one of the world heritage sites of Vietnam. Back to Hoi An in the afternoon for beach relax or on the bank of Thu Bon river or go shopping around. Overnight in Hoi An.

 Day 12: Hoi An – Da Nang – Nha Trang (meal: breakfast)

Transfer to Da Nang Airport to fly to Nha trang around noon. Relax on the beach of Nha Trang. Overnight in Nha Trang

Day 13: Nha Trang and surrounds (meal: breakfast, lunch) 

Have one day boat trip. visit Mun Island, the best site for snorkeling where you will see lots of live colorful corals and fish. This site has been officially protected under the support of Danish Government. Relax, sunbath and swim at Tam island. Then, visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island. At this place, the life of the many sea species of Nha Trang ocean being made in a smaller world of this aquarium can be seen. Return to Nha Trang about 16.00. Overnight in Nha Trang.

 Day 14: Nha Trang – Ho Chi Minh City (meal: breakfast)

Free time on beach until taking afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Free to explore the city and overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City and surrounds (meal: breakfast, lunch)

The tour begins with a visit to Reunification Palace, War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral. After lunch, continue to visit Binh Tay Market, Thien Hau Pagoda, on the way back, stop to visit Chinatown which should not be missed. Overnight in HoChiMinh City

 Day 16: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (meal: breakfast, lunch)

Mekong Delta trip provides you a good look at varieties of the life and scenery on the Mekong River itself as well as on the bank of the river. Start the trip by a drive to Vinh Long, which on the way is green/yellow rice paddy fields stretching towards the horizon. On arrival, embark a boat for cruising the Mekong river with a passing floating Cai Be Market. Explore the local life, handicraft productions along the way. Back to Ho Chi Minh City and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

 Day 17: Ho Chi Minh City – Cao Dai temple – Cu Chi tunnel (meal: breakfast, lunch)

Drive a long way on the country side of Vietnam to Tay Ninh, 100 km from Ho Chi Minh city. proceed to the head quarter of Cao Dai religion to witness the daily ceremony at Cao Dai Holy See, meet followers who come to attend the ceremony, wear colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and Buddhism. Have lunch at a local restaurant then continue to Cu Chi, the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight at Ho Chi Minh City

 Day 18: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (meal: breakfast)

Free time for shopping or optional visit before transferring to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure.
